          PITTSBURGH - January 14, 2010 - Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC has promoted Jared N. Leland to be a Member of the Firm.  As founder of the Firm's Entertainment Law Practice, Mr. Leland manages transactions involving the production, distribution, and financing of motion pictures and television programs as well as the acquisition and disposition of entertainment assets. Mr. Leland also represents and negotiates on behalf of actors, producers, directors, writers, distributors, publishers, entertainment executives, artists, advertising agencies, and other individuals and institutions to secure favorable agreements and results that advance careers and enhance notoriety in the entertainment field.  Mr. Leland is also a member of the firm's mergers and acquisitions practice and a principal of the firm's investment banking affiliate, Renaissance Partners.

          Mr. Leland hosts "JARED LELAND LIVE: From the Red Carpet" on Pittsburgh Business Radio 1360 AM WMNY on alternating Wednesdays at 5 p.m. "JARED LELAND LIVE" is the only radio program on air in Pittsburgh (and one of only a few across the country) devoted solely to covering the intersection of business and entertainment. Mr. Leland discusses how deals are made, the intricacies of entertainment contracts, and who's who behind the scenes in the local entertainment sector.
