Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC's international experience encompasses merger and acquisition transactions, international trade matters and cross-border finance and securities transactions.  We support these transactions with capabilities in litigation, labor, benefits, environmental, immigration and governmental relations as well as the resources of the firm’s network of business contacts in commerce and industry.

The firm has represented American companies in international business transactions in 20 countries across five continents. We regularly assist clients in their efforts to find and develop foreign markets for their goods.  We have also frequently advised companies headquartered in Europe, Asia, Australia and South America on their United States business operations.

For our clients involved in international business we have:

• Acquired, on behalf of the largest coal company in the United Kingdom, fifteen coal companies throughout the United States and negotiated commercial transactions with many of the leading American utilities.

• Arranged for the sale to the former Soviet Union of railroad locomotive motors manufactured by our American client.

• Created a joint venture for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals between our New York Stock Exchange traded client and an East European company.

• Assisted a Japanese client that was preparing to acquire and develop real estate in the territory of Guam.
