Jared N. Leland

Jared N. Leland is a Member of Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC. He is a Member of the firm's mergers and acquisitions and corporate practice groups and a principal of the firm's investment banking affiliate, Renaissance Partners. Mr. Leland is also a founding Member of the firm’s entertainment law practice group, in which he manages transactions involving the production, distribution, and financing of motion pictures and television programs as well as the acquisition and disposition of entertainment assets.

Mr. Leland hosts “On the Red Carpet – The Business of Entertainment” on Pittsburgh Business Radio / WMNY AM 1360 on alternating Wednesdays at 5 p.m. “On the Red Carpet” is the only radio program on air in Pittsburgh (and one of only a few across the country) devoted solely to covering the intersection of business and entertainment. Mr. Leland discusses how deals are made, the intricacies of entertainment contracts, who’s who behind the scenes in the local entertainment sector.

Mr. Leland was selected to be one of Pennsylvania's 2008 Super Lawyers/Rising Stars.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Leland was Spokesman and Legal Counsel for a nonprofit law firm specializing in constitutional, federal, and state law litigation pertaining to religious exercise and expression. He also worked for the United States International Trade Commission, a private law firm in the District of Columbia, and interned for a DC Superior Court judge while attending law school.

Mr. Leland and his Entertainment practice were featured on Pittsburgh Renaissance (Business) Radio 1360 on January 23, 2009.
