Jonathan L. Alder

Jonathan L. Alder is Senior Labor and Employment Relations Consultant for Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch.

Mr. Alder has advised business clients concerning labor and employment relations for more than 40 years. During his legal career, he has counseled private and public employers before the Federal and Pennsylvania Labor Relations Boards and in the negotiation of labor contracts, labor arbitration, and union organizing campaigns. As a business consultant, Mr. Alder has equipped business clients with the tools they need to manage the risks inherent in employing professional, technical, clerical and unskilled employees. His business experience includes serving for more than 10 years as an executive officer of Creekside Mushrooms Ltd., with responsibility for all human resource administration and legal matters for this 450 employee company.

Mr. Alder co-authored a number of books on employment law topics published by Butterworths, including "Americans with Disabilities Act," "Family Medical Leave" and "Sexual Harassment". He has been a frequent speaker on these and other issues for employer groups.

He has been active on a number of business and community boards of directors and has served as a director of the Tri-County Workforce Investment and Career T.R.A.C.K., Inc. boards, covering Butler, Armstrong and Indiana counties in Pennsylvania.
