Mr. Zimmerman concentrates his practice on mergers, acquisitions, and management buyouts, as well as private equity investments relating to each. Since the passage of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which authorized the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), he has experience in advising financial institutions on TARP’s ongoing corporate governance and executive compensation rules and regulations, as well as the process for repaying TARP obligations and terminating liability to the Treasury Department.

Mr. Zimmerman also has significant experience counseling start-up companies through the process from innovation to commercialization. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for ArgentumCidalElectrics, Inc., a company with patented antimicrobial technology for both in vivo and ex vivo applications.
